The colorful houses lining the street are quite famous.  They are called the 'deck of cards' and have been in the movie Titanic and Angela's Ashes.  Speaking of the Titanic, if you ever visit Cobh, you feel as if the big ship is still anchored just off the coast, haunting the shoreline.  Cobh was the last stop of the great ship.  The old pubs honoring the Titanic and the Lusitania (another ship that perished out at sea) make you feel as if time slows here.  This was one of our most memorable shots back in 2018.  I had to hoist Vic up on a wall so she could get a clear shot and make the towering Cathedral stand alone instead of getting partially hidden behind the deck of cards.
